NexsysADC™ Auxiliary Cabinet

Greatly Expand Storage Capacity For Controlled & Routine Meds, Supplies

Turn your NexsysADC™ cabinet into a robust storage network for hundreds — or thousands — of medications and supplies. Add one or more Auxiliary Cabinets to your primary NexsysADC main cabinet or 4T countertop cabinet, and instantly the cabinets communicate to become part of the same network. Each auxiliary cabinet holds 400+ SKUs. Configure with any combination of CAMs, Medication Bins, and Supply Drawers. The Auxiliary Cabinet contains the same security as main and 4T cabinets, with pick-to-light guidance and tamper-evidence technology.  Onscreen on your primary NexsysADC unit, you will be prompted to the exact location of the needed dose in the auxiliary cabinet, and only that location will unlock.

Each auxiliary automated dispensing cabinet is configurable with 10 tiers; your Capsa representative will work with you to design a full NexsysADC suite to handle the secure storage and tracked access of any dose or supply. The end result: Medications are secured, and ROI is assured for both the pharmacy and the facility.

NexsysADC is designed for:

  • Expanded storage of medications and supplies
  • Senior Care facilities, starter doses, STAT doses, 1st doses, electronic emergency kits (“E-Kit”)
  • Any Care Setting that handles controlled meds or high-value meds/supplies (ambulatory surgery centers, hospice, behavioral health/rehab, veterinary)
  • Avoidance of controlled medication diversion/theft/loss
  • Full “track & trace” of all interactions
  • Tight inventory management
  • Cost-cutting (decrease or eliminate local pharmacy delivery fees)
  • Billing control

Pandemic Impact On Long-Term Care Facilities & The Capsa Solution

For LTC facilities with restricted access due to COVID-19, pharmacy providers may be challenged to deliver Stat/1st doses or properly maintain controlled medications. The manual tackle box “E-Kit” has high potential for cross-contamination and no tracking-tracing. NexsysADC lessens the dependence on courier deliveries, promotes social distancing, and ensures patients receive medications exactly when needed.
